CLARITAS AÎNÉS · Bien chez soi. Bien entouré.
Home help for seniors
Reliable help at home for your parents: cleaning, laundry, errands and companionship, every week, from a steady team. Private, non-medical service in Montréal, Laval, the North Shore and the South Shore. Some services may be eligible for Québec’s home-support tax credit for seniors (70 and over).

Home help for seniors: our five services
Claritas Aînés provides private, non-medical home help for seniors, not home care: senior housekeeping, domestic help, groceries and errands, companionship, and support for family caregivers. Choose a single service or combine them to fit your loved one’s needs; everything is planned with you when we prepare the quote.
Housekeeping
In-home cleaning for seniors: kitchen, bathrooms, washed floors and dusted living areas, for a clean, safe home every day.
Everyday help: laundry, bedding, tidying
Laundry at home, changing bedsheets, tidying and organizing rooms: the tasks that take the most effort, done for you.
Groceries and errands
Grocery shopping from your list, picking up orders already prepared at the pharmacy, small errands, or going with your loved one to the grocery store or pharmacy.
Companionship (non-medical)
Conversation, visits and time together: friendly, non-medical companionship to ease isolation. Available now. Our employees are verified.
Support for family caregivers
Scheduled visits and updates shared with authorized family members, to lighten your load and give you peace of mind, even from a distance.
Domestic help, not care: what Claritas does not do
Our services are strictly non-medical. For your loved one’s safety, we do not provide:
- medical care or nursing, or any health assessment;
- handling, giving or reminding of medication;
- help with bathing, hygiene or dressing;
- transfers or mobility assistance (lifting, seating or supporting a person);
- overnight supervision.
For these needs, please contact your CLSC or a recognized care provider. For a health question, call 811 (Info-Santé). We can keep taking care of the housekeeping, errands and companionship alongside them.
Québec tax credit for home-support services for seniors
Some of our services, such as housekeeping and laundry at home, may be eligible for Québec’s tax credit for home-support services for seniors (70 and over), subject to Revenu Québec’s conditions. Only Revenu Québec decides eligibility and the amount. We provide an invoice for every visit.

Weekly in-home cleaning for seniors
It is the option families ask for most. One visit every week, on the same day: the home stays clean, the fridge is stocked, the laundry is done and your loved one has a regular visit to look forward to.
Regular upkeep keeps chores from piling up and makes every visit simpler. Our stable team gets to know the household’s routines, and we do a follow-up after every visit. Every two weeks or monthly is also possible.
For families: a practical checklist before the first visit
Are you the son, daughter or relative of an older person? You can make the request for them, schedule visits and, with their consent, receive updates after each visit. Before you start:
- ☐ Talk with your parent first and get their agreement.
- ☐ Pick the priority tasks: cleaning, laundry, errands, companionship.
- ☐ Pick the frequency: weekly, every two weeks or monthly.
- ☐ Explain home access (key, code) and the routines to respect.
- ☐ Say who receives updates after visits, with your parent’s consent.
- ☐ If your parent needs care, help with bathing or with medication, contact the CLSC as well.
- ☐ Keep every invoice for the home-support tax credit for seniors.
